My Best Travelling Tips and Tricks
There are so many tips and tricks available on the internet related to travel. you can find many helpful blogs and articles, youtube videos related to this particular topic. A wide range of travel dictionaries, magazines are also to be followed. Many famous travellers have written many useful travel guides. Here I have mentioned some of the tips and tricks for the novice traveller that will help them during their travel planning and journey. Most of them are from my own travel experience and are listed below:
Get done with your bookings as early as possible:
If you are planning for a trip, plan it well in advance and complete your flight, train and bus bookings as early as possible much before the trip to avoid the last minute rush and to run the things smoothly without any kind of hassle. It is also cheaper when you do the bookings much before the trip. Also, do not forget to book your hostel beforehand. Avoid booking tickets through the agents.
Pack less and light:
Pack your travel bag as light as possible. Don't load your baggage with unnecessary stuff. Carry only the clothing which is extremely required. A backpack or a briefcase, in that case, will help you out in packaging light.
Make an extensive search about the Place and it’s surroundings:
If you are new to the place you are going for the trip or if, you are going there for the very first time, it is suggested that you make an extensive search about the weather conditions of the place during the time of your trip, about the surrounding places, the behaviour of the local people, the currency of the place and in case the currency does not match with your currency then, the exchange rate of the currencies, the emergency contacts of the place like the local tourism office, nearby hospital contacts, helpline numbers, police contacts etc.
Travel alone frequently:
I know, it doesn’t sound good as you may think that if you travel in a group you will be more safe and secured. Exactly, you are absolutely correct! But, sometimes it is also necessary to test yourself and see how far you can travel on your own and can manage yourself alone without taking help of your family and friends. It is also enjoyable when you travel on your own as there is no one to stop you from doing anything, you can enjoy yourself however you want and explore new things whatever you want. Sounds good now? I guess, yes.
Keep in contact with your loved ones:
In case, you’re travelling alone or with your friends, make sure you be in contact with your loved ones like your family members. They are the ones who will think about you all the time when you are away and in case of an emergency, they will know your whereabouts and can help you out from the situation.
